Trikatu churna is a well-known Ayurvedic generic formulation that is frequently used and highly prescribed by Ayurvedic medical professionals. Trikatu, as its name suggests, is a concoction of three (tri) spicy (katu) spices or plants. Three botanical herbs, Soonth (Sunth/Ginger - Zinziber officinale), Kali miri (Black pepper - Piper nigrum), and Pippali (Long pepper -Piper longum), are combined to make Trikatu powder.
